Kelly Wearstler collaborated with Netherlands based pop art collective Rotganzen to create these amazing, sensual melted disco ball sculptures. These incredible, funky hand-sculpted pieces are made from glass mirrors and perfectly balance and curve over furniture or over one another to create this peaceful and contemporary sculpture. They “embody a delicate dance between art and object, noir and light, glamour and decadence”.

Straight away when looking at this line it automatically takes us back to memories of partying and fun club nights. It has an element of nostalgia to them by taking you back to memories of dancing nights out which makes these sculptures so much more relevant.
Wearstler’s idea behind the pieces was inspired from the ‘alluring night life of 70s California’ and each being ‘playfully reminiscent of glamorous nights laden with melancholic nostalgia for times past’.
